North Hills Prep is a peanut/nut free zone. The reason for this policy is that there are a significant number of students in attendance that have severe peanut/nut allergies. If exposed to peanuts/nuts, these students could develop life-threatening allergic reactions that require emergency medical treatment.

Please do not send any peanut or nut containing products for your child to eat during snack in the classroom or at lunch. Any exposure to peanuts or nuts through contact or ingestion can cause a severe reaction.

If your child has eaten peanuts or nuts prior to coming to school, please be sure your child’s hands have been thoroughly washed prior to entering the school.

Healthy snacks and treats are available at our student-operated cafés and stores, such as nut-free granola bars, muffins, and juices. You can participate in helping us promote healthy eating among our students by sending healthy snacks.
